Kate is thrilled to be a part of the Friends of Chamber Music after growing up as a young cellist in Kansas City. She is a graduate of Tufts University, where she studied Art History and Environmental Science. While at Tufts, she also found a passion for event coordination from her on-campus roles with the Tufts University Social Collective and Tufts University Art Galleries where she was deeply involved with community engagement and events. With additional experience in hospitality and nonprofit communications, and a strong belief in the arts as a tool for connection and community-building, Kate is excited to connect the Kansas City community with exceptional chamber music.
Outside of work, Kate can often be found spending time outdoors, baking, or knitting. She also loves hiking and backpacking, completing a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2023.
