Debra Goldstein

Development Associate

Debra Goldstein brings more than three decades of nonprofit development and fundraising experience to Friends of Chamber Music Kansas City. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles with some of Kansas City’s most respected nonprofit and cultural organizations, including United Way of Greater Kansas City, where she served as Director of Major Gifts; Congregation B’nai Jehudah, where she was Director of Endowments; Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City, where she served as Director of Development; and Kansas City Ballet, where she was Director of Development. She concluded her professional career at the National WWI Museum and Memorial, serving as Director of Major Gifts before retiring in 2020.

Debra has spent her career building meaningful relationships with donors and community members and helping nonprofit organizations advance their missions through philanthropy. She is excited to bring her experience and passion for Kansas City’s arts and cultural community to Friends of Chamber Music.

Outside of work, Debra enjoys traveling with her husband and son, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Since retiring in 2020, she has enjoyed having more time to explore, travel, and stay connected to the Kansas City community.
